Wilkinson Sword – You can´t say sharper than that


One man, one blade, one subject: 100 years of wet shaving. Plus a company with a long and unique history. The press folder is of great journalistic interest: historians, wet-shavers, anecdote addicts, fans of things English, the culturally inclined, leg-conscious women, people with an interest in business and, of course, journalists can find plenty of ideas to save them tearing their hair out. The echo of the clashing blades that once began on London’s Pall Mall rings unmistakeably through the press landscape – these and other wet activities enable the global Wilkinson Sword company to cut the competition down to size as well. On our initiative, master photographers Helmut Newton and Bettina Rheims portray men and women shaving – in the bath, for example. The echo goes far beyond national boundaries – as is only fitting for a global brand. Smooth is in!
